Colour Editor

How to change the colours

Swap the placeholder palette for your brand colours. Keep brightness for brightness — light to light, dark to dark — and the layout rebalances automatically.

Change your background & element colours

1Click the coloured shape on the right inside 'Your brand palette'.
2In the toolbar, click the colour circle (the round icon showing the current colour).
Document colours
3Pick a brand colour — match the brightness of the one you're replacing.

4Hit 'Change all' in the pop-up — every page updates at once.

Change your font colours
White shade
Click Me
1Click the 'Click Me' text on the right inside 'Your font colours'.

2Tap the 'A' with the colour bar under it (the text-colour button) in the toolbar.
Document colours
3Pick a colour that matches the background brightness from step 01.

4Hit 'Change all' — every bit of text in that colour updates.
TIP
Match brightness to brightness so the layout still reads. Don't pair two dark colours where the original used a dark + light combo — your text will disappear.

Why the little squares?
They're a mini-preview of your other brand colours — so you can see the whole palette while you recolour one card, without flipping back and forth.

Font Editor

Change the fonts

Three roles control everything in the template — heading, subheading, and body. Set each one once and Canva updates every page.

Change your heading font
